St Mary's Church
Like all villages, the Village Church (St Mary’s) holds weekly services, as well as seasonal events.
St. Mary the Virgin was first mentioned in the Domesday book of 1085.
It is believed that before the stone built building was constructed, on the grounds there probably was a wooden construction built by the Saxons.
The south wall and part of the west wall are part of the Norman building built around 1090.
